| The photo to the
right represents a historic replication created by Arm-R-Lite. A door was needed that would stand the test of time, yet would emulate the
wood doors of the past. Arm-R-Lite mimicked multi-mullioned wood doors that adorned the
exterior of the Springfield Fire Department, Springfield, NJ. The wood doors, while
beautiful, will decay and deteriorate over time, plus, they would not accept insulated
glazing. Arm-R-Lite’s door solution is made of aluminum and glass, will last for many
years, and is insulated. No warping, rotting and sagging of wood, yet, the look of the
past is preserved. |

| A Manhattan studio needed to have an ‘open" visible"
look for daytime while they’re open. This welcoming visual appearance also offers a
frosted hint of privacy. (ARL designer glazing) At night the merchants secure these
locations with rolling steel doors that roll down in front of the glass doors.
Arm-R-Lite
upward acting sectional overhead doors, with their "storefront" appearance, lets
customers know that this row of businesses is open. A pass door (pedestrian door within
an overhead door) accommodates an individual storeowner while blending in nicely with
doors that do not have pass doors. The overall view is impactful. |
